An anonymized string created from your email address (“hash”) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you are using it. The Gravatar Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once the comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of the comment.
Media files
If you are a registered user and uploading photos to the site, it is a good idea to avoid uploading images with EXIF metadata as they may contain GPS data about your location. Visitors can retrieve this information by downloading the images from the site.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so you don't have to fill in the details again the next time you comment. These cookies are stored for one year.
If you have an account on the site and log in, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser supports cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

How long we keep your data

For users who register on our site, we also store the personal information they provide in their profiles. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

You can also request deletion of this data. This does not include data that we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
